1. The Duxton Club

Offering a luxury experience The Duxton Club is said to open in the first half of 2018. Hotel owners of The Vagabond Club at Syed Alwi Road, Harpreet Bedi and Satinder Garcha’s second property will reflect the expansive Singapore heritage of Tanjong Pagar’s rich history. The Duxton Club will be housed in two pre-war colonial shophouse buildings which are in proximity of Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown district. The Duxton House, which will be on Duxton Road is expected to launch first in early 2018 and it provides 50 rooms in eight three-storey buildings. Just a couple of minutes walk away on Murray Street is The Duxton Terrace, which has 138 rooms across 14 buildings, and is planned to open in July 2018. The hotel will feature five restaurants, bars, and outdoor pool and a cigar room.

We can’t wait for this addition to our hotel staycation list!

2. The Patina, Capitol Singapore

This ultra-luxury hotel is a conservation of Singapore’s grand culture and history, harmoniously reawakened for travellers of today. The vision of award-winning American architect Richard Meier and well-celebrated Indonesian designer Jaya Ibrahim has two restored buildings in Singapore’s Civic and Cultural District into something magnificent. Located within the proximity of Capitol Theatre, The Patina has 157 rooms and suites, across the neoclassical beauty of the Capitol Wing, Stamford Wing and the exclusive Pinnacle Suites.

The Patina is slated (again) to open early 2018, so... we will all finally be able to see what’s on the other side then.

Andaz Singapore has been receiving a lot of hype lately. Well, we can’t see why it wouldn’t! Located right in the heart of Kampong Glam, Little India and Bras Basah Bugis districts, getting to Andaz Singapore pops little pockets of fun and adventure through the atmospheric colours of the rich heritage of Singapore. The hotel features 342 guestrooms and has a rooftop bar, showcasing a 360 degrees view of Singapore’s cityscape – all housed within the striking DUO skyscrapers, designed by the award-winning German architect, Ole Scheeren.

4. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore

The opening of this five-star hotel will enter a new league into Singapore’s golfing scene as it will feature two prestigious golf courses. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore will house a 206-room and villa hotel resort with golf and sea views – topped with the infamous Thai hospitality! If you’re a golf enthusiast, then you may wanna scoot here. But if you’re just like us, pretty sure the resort has other reasons for us, such as The Forest Restaurant and in-house spa treatments in a Thai-inspired ambience.

The full renovation and refurbishment program is still in development, and we hope to see it open sometime this year!

We have our hopes as high as yours before we jump into fluffy hotel pillows, freezing bathtubs and a lovely time at these new hotel destinations.
