Review: Royz Et Vous

Royz Et Vous had their first branch along Bali Lane, before their expansion. They have also a much improved menu - it got longer! And you won't be disappointed with the freshness of your food from the kitchen to your table.

Here's what we think:

What you should not miss is their mains. Go for the Smoked Duck, which comes with a side of herb-roasted potatoes, salad and well complemented with a homemade sauce. The smoked duck is flavourful and not too dry - hitting your umami right on the spot. There are also other interesting mains worth to try such as the Brazen Beef and the Lamb Shank.

Smoked Duck, $26.90

Look at that glistening crispy skin on the perfectly smoked duck.

It was tempting enough to try their snacks and appetisers because they serve beef sliders, buffalo wings(!), sweet potato fries, buttermilk chicken wings, nachos and lots more. Their extensive menu doesn’t end there. There’s also brunch meals, soup and pasta.

The Spicy Beef is good for chili lovers as the dish’s minced beef is slow cooked with garlic, onions, bell peppers and bird’s eye chili. If you’re looking for something light, go for pasta such as the Seafood Aglio Olio or the Signature Prawn & Crayfish. The latter comes in cream sauce which is not too heavy and not too spicy either, despite having bird’s eye chili in its sauce. Topped with sautéed prawns and crayfish, it will definitely satisfy your lunch hunger pangs.

Signature Prawn & Crayfish pasta in cream sauce, $19.90.

Roy Et Vous is also known for specialty coffee, so don’t leave without having a cuppa. They have interesting flavoured coffee, from Mint Mocha to Dirty Red Velvet Latte. Try the Red Velvet Latte – it’s like cake in a cup, not kidding, it seriously tastes good! If you’re basic, go ahead and fulfill coffee-o-clock with an espresso-base coffee.

Red Velvet Latte, $7, is a must-try!

Not forgetting, the beverages menu is as extensive as its food counterpart. They have fizzy and bubbly mocktails and HALAL WINE. Yup, they even recommend which wine to order to match your meals.

Sounds good? Why not try it out for yourself? Not just another café on the block – you’ll definitely come back again.

This joint is right smack in Telok Ayer so fellow OLs (office ladies) and men, another option to have your lunch or dinner after work. They have another branch in Chai Chee too!
