1. Minion Café
First opened in Tokyo, Japan, the Minion Café has made its way to Singapore! Ba-na-na fans, say BELLO! Check out the cutesy menu offering cakes, shakes, pasta and pizza!

2. Marina Barrage
Fly a kite. Or have a themed picnic. Try going in the late evenings or at night to avoid the crowd (and kids). It’d be nice to star/moon gaze, only if the clouds don’t play chaperones to your romantic night.

3. Ride an Ofo
Ofo is offering free rides for the whole month of December – no deposit required! Truly a season of giving! Just unlock a bike from the app and be remindful of road safety measures!

4. Soak up the sun at one of Singapore’s Southern Islands
Hop on a ferry or a boat to Lazarus Island, where you can find a clear beach and waters. Uninhabited, Lazarus Island remains one of Singapore’s best kept secret for a quick getaway from the city bustle.
If you’re interested in trekking, St John’s Island provides a fantastic trail to explore the marine forest and coral reefs.

5. Bungee jumping in Sentosa
Get a shot of adrenaline pumping for a bungee jump at AJ Hackett Sentosa! Other extreme activities include a Vertical Skywalk and the Giant Swing.
They are open over the weekends - Saturdays from 10am – 10pm and Sundays from 10am – 7pm.

6. MacRitchie Reservoir TreeTop Walk
If this is one thing that you have not done but keep telling yourself that you will one day, then this is the time. Be prepared for a long hike but don’t get lost! There are several routes to get to the long freestanding suspension bridge, so plan your route well!

7. Junkie’s Corner (Real junk, #saynotodrugs)
As they say another man’s trash is another man’s treasure, go on a scavenger hunt for things quirky and vintage at this junkyard. Far out in Bukit Timah, the junkyard has a huge collection of furniture, decorative items and nostalgia. We heard that prices can be quite steep, but it’s worth a visit for the rarity of some of the collection. Bring loads of cash and a clear car boot – not forgetting a pair of sharp eyes! You never know what you might find!
Call before you make you way down!

8. Gillman Barracks

9. Chill out at a rooftop bar
Orgo Bar & Restaurant
Known for their long list of fresh cocktails and mocktails, you can spend a quiet evening here. Also accompanying you is the entire view of Singapore’s skyline. Perfect + perfect.
Located in Esplanade, 8 Raffles Avenue, #04-01, Esplanade-Theaters on the Bay, Singapore 039802
The Peruvian restaurant sits atop The Club, and its cosy and chill vibes will make you feel at home. The foodie in you will not resist having a bite off the food menu. Makes an awesome place for a small hangout with your buddies.
Located in The Club, 28 Ann Siang Rd, Singapore 069708
10. Netflix and chill?
We mean to literally ‘Netflix’ and ‘chill’. Binge watch the entire series of Stranger Things or catch up with the mind blowing Black Mirror series before the new season is released this December. Other recommended series that you may want to start on: The Punisher, Narcos, Sense8 and the latest Dark.
So… Have you decided what you will be doing during the Christmas Holiday?
